Gantrail launches 1st phase of strategic web development programme

As a leading, global provider of crane rail expertise, Gantrail are pleased to announce the launch of their new website – designed specifically with the primary needs of clients and partners in mind. Now live, the website in its current state sees the completion of the first phase of a three phase web project, with further developments set for completion throughout 2017.

The design of the new site follows an in-depth assessment of user behaviours; looking specifically at the way that web users search for information and engage with the Gantrail brand and team. As a result, the specification for web design follows the UX activity of target users.

With a full range of product information and technical resources, demo videos, data downloads and technical guidance notes, this content focused tool stands out from more traditional shop window style sites and shows Gantrails commitment to create a tool which acts as a resource and reference point for anyone engaging with the Gantrail team.

Managing Director Malcolm Trigg said “As an international business with products, clients and partners throughout the world, digital technologies and playing an increasingly important role in the way we communicate and interact on a daily basis. This first phase launch of our new website provides a great platform for us to share our expertise with a global audience and enables a far greater level of interaction than has been possible before. This is just the start of a very focused programme of digital client engagement and we have clear targets for ongoing development over the course of the next 18 months.”

The second phase of web development is now underway, with language variants scheduled for launch at the end of 2016. Next year sees focus shift towards very specific online tools which will allow Gantrail to more heavily support throughout the specification phase of a project.

Whilst any further development details are still understandably under wraps, what is clear is Gantrails commitment to finding the best platform to accommodate the needs of their market.
